Do you accept my insurance plan?

Advanced Imaging is committed to negotiating the best insurance plan coverage possible. Currently, we accept the following plans:

What do I bring with me to my appointment?

Do I need to be pre-authorized by my insurance company before my scan?

As a courtesy, Advanced Imaging will try to get the pre-authorization on all CT’s and MRI’s. It is ultimately the patients responsibility to verify that authorization has been obtained prior to the scan.

Can Advanced Imaging file primary and secondary claims?


What if I don’t have insurance?

Advanced Imaging will give you an estimated cost for your exam and can place you in contact with our billing department to assist you with setting up a payment plan, if necessary.

Do I have to pay at the time of the service?

Partial payment is due at the time of service. However, we understand this can be difficult in some circumstances. Our billing office can help you make payment arrangements. If payment in full is made at the time of service, you will receive a 10% discount.

How can I pay for my scan?

We accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard.

Can I send results to more than one Physician?


Do I have to have an order/prescription to have a study performed?

An order/prescription is necessary for all studies except:

May I get a copy of my films?

Advanced Imaging is a filmless facility. We can give you a copy of your study on a CD.

I'm coming from out of town...Where can I spend the night?

There are a number of hotels within close proximity of our facility:

With short notice, AI will be happy to provide overnight accommodations for out-of-town patients.

What if I do not have transportation available to make it to my appointment?

With short notice, AI will be happy to make arrangements for patients in this situation.

How soon can I book an appointment to be scanned at AI?

We offer extended hours, including early mornings & evenings for CT, MRI & Digital Mammography. Saturdays for CT & MRI scans. In most cases, we can schedule you for the same day that you call for an appointment.
